Instagram Feeds; My favorites and Tips

So I was scrolling on Instagram, and talking to dear Black Jesus about what I should post about. Suddenly my phone fell and I had and idea. Honestly none of that happened, I just didnt know how to start of this post and im corny. Anyways, after days of searching and recommendations. I narrowed it down to my favorite Instagrammers and their saucey ass feeds.

Building A Theme: 

Now I have zero clue what my top instagrammers use to edit their photos. However my top pick to edit my photos is VSCOCAM. It comes with some default effects. However I bought a package with like a bunch for 7$ and it was worth it completely. 

Avoid using collages, their great for Facebook or Twitter, but it's just a clot on your Instagram Feed. So stick to single photos. 

Keep colors going, if you got a row of cool colors. Then keep that row cool colors. 

Using the same filter process helps me a lot to. No matter how I edit my photos, I finish it with the filter "ADEN". Just to make sure my pics blend. 

A good way to just find random photos is just by searching Tumblr. 

Above all dont try to copy someone else theme. These are my favorite instagrammers and I use them for inspiration strictly. My pictures are based off my moods and what going on around me. 

Instagram basically only allows perfect square photos so; 612x612. Apps like Instasize can help resize your photos, but the borders could just ruin everything else. So try running your picture through an editor and just resizing it.

Why have I been M.I.A. ?

Well honestly I can say life is just too damn much.

From my breakup, to having to bury a friend, to AP classes, to finals, to work, to friendships, to ICDC. Things have been rough. Its not that I have not been thinking about blogging (trust me I have). It's just I didn't have the time, my camera was never with me, and more simply put sometimes I was being outright lazy. 

However when I grabbed my camera off my closet shelf, were it has been tucked away for far too long. I decided to look through my pictures, and I've seen just how much my life has changed in only two months. After crying about the hardships, and the good times that will only exist as memories now. I began to look at my pictures again and I had an serious epiphany. 

Pictures are my secret comfort to life. No matter how my emotions reflected upon them, my pictures helped me remember. The good times, the bad times, scents, sounds, the whole nine yards; and I realized I never wanted to put my camera down again. I want to branch out to so many others things and open so many opportunities and my camera can be right there with me. 

Me and my somber mood decided to go to Walmart.com and bought us a new tripod. Then we went to Etsy.com and bought us a template. Then we wrote down some ideas, and now were just waiting. Not to mention when I get sad I like to shop, and boy am I way overdue. 

So to some it up when life throws blows at you hit it back, and if you're to cute to fight you better square your scary ass up. 

I just wanna say that #melanin though.

Right Outfit Wrong Weather

I live in Charleston. Now if you have ever been to or lived in Charleston you know seasons don't exist. I don't care what any scientist say. SEASONS DO NOT EXIST IN CHARLESTON! Its either very hot or very cold. Right now its very HOT! No problem, I woke up this morning and figured it was going to be one of those very cold days, and I miscalculated greatly! Its about freaking 80° outside! This outfit was COMPLETELY WORTH IT! I received so many compliments today and I felt like at any moment I would be transported into the 90's. I'm also in love with this new bag i picked up (I am oddly in love with black-even though my favorite color is red) it just has this nice vintage look to it. Also their is only a week until Charleston Fashion Week (#CFW) -yassssss! Im so excited, I hopefully will have enough free time to live in Downtown Charleston.

Gloomy Days Can Bring Smiles

It was honestly a strange day for me. My day started off horrible, but it was like nothing bad could stick *hopefully its good karma coming back. It was even raining like 75%, but it wasn't like a gloomy rain. It was kinda like the earth had went on a long run and was just so hot it needed to drown itself in water. Slumped

Lately I will admit I have been uninspired and tired. No other way to put it. I don't know where I want to go with this blog, nor do I know if i want to continue it. Like I want to continue it, but I dont know what to post. Anyways, (because I am tired of my own rambling) I have decided my camera (a,k,a, Nike) and I, along with a notepad and some headphones, will be traveling EVERYWHERE together. I am determined to drag myself out of this mental slump, I have fallen in. 

These pictures have NOTHING to do with this post, but on one of my more uninspired nights i took these #selfies, and kinda fell in love with them. Not sure why. The quality isn't even good, but I love them. It's one of those late nights where you just have to get in the mirror and make yourself "pretty", and once you achieve that "pretty" you were looking for you gotta catch it on camera. You just gotta.
